Bree Macra na Feirme was founded formally on the 20th of April 1960. The officers elected that night were Jim Kelly, Frances Walsh, John Curtis and Mona Fortune. Since the seed was sown in 1960 Bree Macra has gone from strength to strength and are nationally known for their participation and success in Macra competitions. The club is especially recognised for past and recent successes. We are currently the All-Ireland debating champions and we boast success in indoor soccer and public speaking in recent years.
